“Shush!” whispers Matthias and I can feel his hand on my mouth, forcing me to be quiet. Starteled I find my way back from my dreams in our bedroom.
“What…”
“Shuuuuuush!!!!!” He increases the pressure of his hand on my mouth. “I believe there is someone in our apartment!” he whispers.
It is time to report of my everyday life! Meanwhile I have a lot on my plate. I mean, yes, sure, I have big plates – so why not putting a lot of food on it? But hey, I tried to use an idiom! The elephant seals spend most of the year at sea but, always come to the coast at this time of the year to give birth to the small elephant-seal-babys and to conceive new ones. There are currently hanging around 440 elephant-seal-bulls together with 1446 elephant-seal-cows and their 642 elephant-seal-babys and 16 elephant-seal-teenager at Año Nuevo State Park. “Ooooooooh! The sun is shining!” Matthias und Kiki are happy.
We have not seen the sun for a long time! Just as in Austria is the coldest winter since years, here is it rainy! And it does not just trickle, no! The rain pours down out of the sky. That is so impressive so I often press my nose against the window for a minute, or two, to watch the spectacle out there. California, despite numerous flooding and road blockages, is delighted as the drought (existing for years) is over.
