Yesterday I had a funny evening in the bar…so I only went to bed at midnight. But the monkeys here – I could sing you a thing or two about it, but my voice is a bit rough at this time of the day, so I can’t – they are merciless. On the stroke of five they are roaring as loud as their lungs would allow it.
But: the sun is shining, the sea is sparkles – and breakfast is waiting on a fantastic terrace with a fantastic view. So: Good Morning Paradise!
At the beach, Playa Espadilla, I meet Dayana and Guillermo. Today we surf the boogie board!
First I’m a bit scared – beeing the mountain girl I have a lack of experience with waves in the ocean. But fear should be overcome and I throw myself into the flud. And: at the end of the day I surf my board on the waves. And if a wave too big, then I just hold my breath and – dive! Yes!
And now? Relaxing at the not too crowed beach…
Disturbance finds you only in form of funny animals…
…or beach vendors 😉
This day is so beautiful that I think of staying another night. But: quit playing at it’s best. And it is best.
In the evening again I meet Bob – for about twenty years he lives here and there and everywhere, so he has a lot to tell. And he makes music. And one song I want to share with you at it is just beautiful!
Barefoot Bob “Mine”
I enjoy my last night in my luxury room with a hot shower, a cozy bed and a ceiling and I am very, very happy and grateful to experience so many nice things!
Tomorrow I head home. Somehow sad, but I am looking forward to my family as well as the mountains!
PS: at home in San Gerardo de Rivas I for sure go for a hike. And now we have the salad! – that’s an expression we would use in German 😉 I think the English speaking world says: The fat’s in the fire!
Because: my two hours tour only needs one and a half hours now. And back home I need to do extra exercises to get the feeling of having done some sport…
